Hansa College Canada (HCC) is committed to ensuring that the privacy of its users and registered members is respected and protected. This policy statement sets out how any personal information you give us for the purposes of registering is dealt with. We are keen of disclosing these procedures in order to show you that we will only use such information as you disclose in ways that are compatible with this policy statement.

1. We wish to address the question of precisely what information we collect. Clearly the first piece of information we gather comes from a reader logging on to our site and requesting a page from HCC as our servers automatically recognize the visitor's IP address and domain name. These reveal nothing personal about the visitor to the site. However, this information is solely used to compile our statistics in order to examine levels of page impressions and numbers of unique users visiting our website.
2. Through the registration process, we request your e-mail address along with some general information. We do not intend, through the collection of this information, to give your e-mail address or general information to any third party without your prior consent. Furthermore, through registering for HCC throughout our TESL Online Registration Form, your name is recorded to enable us to maintain your account to ensure that when checking in into the school your information is accurate for security reasons, and to check that you are a registered student.
3. We may send you e-mails announcing new features of the site from time to time along with news of release of articles in an area you may have expressed a particular interest in. We use all reasonable precautions to keep secure all information that is given to us by our registered members and we are not responsible for any breach of the reasonable security measures installed to protect the said information. HCC is not responsible for the private policies, if any; of any site we link to, whether in our "Links" section.
4. We reserve the right to transfer any information accumulated by us in the manner described above in the event of the sale of part or all of HCC's assets. By visiting our website and by registering for our programs you consent to the collection and use of information in the manner hereinbefore described.
